 Post subject: GPG No Public Key Error

Hi !

I've got a (little ?) bug to report:

When I used to install UberStudent in German language, it crashed when installing the language packs. There was an error like: Something went wrong, report problem or try again. Then I tried to install it in English and it worked. Now, I changed the language in the settings, but when I use to update it, the download of the Translation-DE packages fail and following error pops up (I'll translate it for you):

W: While inspecting the signature, an error occurred. The repository hasn't been updated and the previous indexfiles will not be used. GPG-Error: http://repository.spotify.com stable InRelease: The following signatures could not be inspected, because their public key is not available: NO_PUBKEY 13B00F1FD2C19886

W: Failure when fetching http://repository.spotify.com/dists/stable/InRelease

W: Several indexfiles could not be downloaded. They were ignored or old ones used instead.

Would be great, if this could get fixed.

Please go to Applications menu > System > Software > Software System Fixer and run the tool. This should fix the GPG-Error mentioned by the apt code that you posted. I wrote the Software System Fixer tool and included it in UberStudent by default to make fixing this error, should it ever occur, as easy as running this tool. :geek:

(If you're interested in looking at what this tool does step-by-step, please download http://uberstudent.net/pool/main/s/soft ... 0.4.tar.gz and peruse the code.)

Then, to install language support, please use the tool at Applications menu > System > Administration > Languages. Then, reboot and select German from the language icon at the login screen. German is one of the languages that the UberStudent interface does broadly support. Due to upstream Ubuntu diversions from older Unix-based methods, please don't use any other method of installing language support beside this one. The language support tool in UberStudent is designed to work and is the same one included in Linux Mint. ;)
