I need a good tutorial link where I can learn linux commands. I need to learn shell scripting also. Guide with some good tutorial links.

Hi ashishpatel,

I have downloaded a pdf with some basic unix (so linux too) commands a while ago. It is really basic stuff.

I don't know anything about bash though. Maybe under http://linuxcommand.org/ you can find some instructions.

In UberStudent there's also some on-board help. Go to Applications → System → System Administration → Linux Command Reference Guide.

For shell scripting, look in your filesystem at
/usr/share/doc/bash/
For example, there you will find the Bash Reference Manual as
bashref.pdf

The man page (less useful to a beginner) is available via the command line by entering
man bash
