Ubuntu 14.04 LTS non-beta comes out April 17. That's what I am building from. I am building some things from the beta now.

Awesome! Looking forward to the next build, Stephen. Do you happen to have an ETA for the next version?

Well the day raring support ended I manually edited all sources to saucy but it's not as flawless as your derivation of course, so I needed it badly :<
Give me a heads up if you need any beta testers ;)

You didn't need to do that. Ubuntu is built upon Debian Testing. As such, the Ubuntu end-support dates are very largely artificial, commercially-driven. Debian Stable is what to really watch. UberStudent 3.0 is fine by that. At the end-of-life period of UberStudent releases, any critical security updates would come through Debian in to the UberStudent repo.
