I've never used TablEdit in Wine so can't really address it without spending perhaps up to a few hours to try to get it going. As a first step, I'd suggest you pose this issue on whatever public support forums provided by TablEdit, as well as by Wine. Others are almost sure to have already trod this same path before and can perhaps advise straightway. I'll add that, generally, getting audio to work well under Wine can sometimes be a challenge.
As for Tuxguitar, I'm assuming you're using UberStudent 3.0. If so, it installs and runs fine for me. So to troubleshoot whatever may be the issue on your machine, please do this:
1. Open a terminal and type in tuxguitar and hit Enter on your keyboard to run it.
2. Copy and paste the output from the terminal here, also informing me whether the program ran or not.
