Post subject:  Splash Screen missing
Hi,
I have been using Uberstudent for a while and I think it is one of the best linux distributions available. I have a simple question regarding my splash screen. After the update to 4.1 I am missing the splash screen. When I turn on the computer there is only a black screen (no splash screen) after which the log-in screen will appear. I was wondering if someone can help me to return the splash screen back.

I have tried most of the linux distributions (Running them from a flash drive) and I must say nothing compares with UberStudent.....

Thanks for reporting this and thanks for your encouragement about UberStudent. :)

As this is only an aesthetics issue, give me several days to look in to it and issue a fix. I have my systems set to autologin, which bypasses the plymouth splash screen, so I might not have otherwise noticed this sooner but for your report. ;)

This has been fixed in the package uberstudent-plymouth-themes. Just run the Update Manager to apply it. :geek:
