To add Systemback to your system you must add the repository to your system. F12 will drop down your terminal.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nemh/systemback

Remember, adding a repository to your system is risky . That said, this will give you a restore point to go back to when you make errors .
Next update your system.
sudo apt-get update

Then install.
sudo apt-get install systemback

Once Systemback installs hit F12 .we are done with the terminal.
Go to your applications menu and type in Systemback. Highlight it and launch. It will ask for your password. Then open.
click on create new. this will create a restore point. :D

Simple system backup and restore application with extra features

Systemback makes it easy to create backups of the system and the users configuration files. In case of problems you can easily restore the previous state of the system. There are extra features like system copying, system installation and Live system creation.
