I have installed US on my flashdrive using unetbootin (had problems with yumi) and now when I boot I hear the audio but have no video, just a black screen. I booted from this flashdrive on another laptop (with nvidia graphics) and it works perfectly. The laptop I want to use for US is an ACER Aspire with Intel i5, Intel HD Graphics 4400, and touch screen. It currently has Fedora, Ubuntu, and Sabayon installed. Is there a way to do "nomodeset"? I had to do this with ubuntu in the past... Any help is greatly appreciated!

Yes, it's no problem.

When you initially boot the live disc you will see this screen:

Hit F6 on your keyboard and then Tab and then type in nomodset to the boot line before the two dashes and hit Enter.

Did that solve the issue?

UPDATE: It did, see post below.

It is working now! For the sake of completeness:
I do not see the screen you posted, just a unetbootin grub menu which also happens to have the tab option

For any other beginners who might read this, it seems you must add "nomodeset" before the two dashes at
the end of the boot line
