I installed the drivers or whatever needed, everything looks ok, but the printer won't print. It holds the job for several seconds, and then the job just disapears. Also, the indicator that's something's not quite ok is that when I turn on the printer, it produces its starting sound only once, and it should produce it twice. When I clicked "Troubleshooting" the system didn't find any known error. The printer won't print even the test page. Now, I have already had the same problem when I tried to install it in Ubuntu (when I used to use that OS, which I don't any more) and I managed it somehow, but it was long time ago and I don't remember the solution. Also, I have installed UberStudent version Plato maybe some 1-2 months ago and I am still learning to know it. Please, help. Thank you and greetings from Serbia!

PS: I now remember what I used: It was a HPLIP. Is there something of the sort for UberStudent?

Open the Synaptic Package Manager and search for and install hplip and hplip-gui, reboot and see if that fixes the issue.
