I had to reinstall Epicurus but I didn't save Chromium bookmarks. I saved the folder Chromium from \.config and I put it in the \.config folder in the new installation but ... I didn't have back my important url bookmarks .
What can I do?
Thanks

First, if you're copying over the entire /home/yourusername/.config to a new installation, make sure the username you choose for the new installation in the same as the old or you will have issues.

Now, try closing Chromium and then deleting the folder /home/yourusername/.config/chromium and then copying the folder /home/yourusername/.config/chromium bak over and then open Chromium again.

If your bookmarks still do not appear then there is something corrupt in the files in your chromium folder making them not load. In that case, navigate in to the saved /home/yourusername/.config/chromium/Default folder and locate the files Bookmarks and Bookmarks.bak. If they do not exist, well there's the problem; if they do, you should be able to open the files in a text editor and read through the code and find the URLs and follow them anew in Chromium to re-bookmark them.

HINT: Next time, test the /home/yourusername/.config/chromium folder by loading it in to a new Chromium profile, and then delete. ;)

The Linux file-system is case-sensitive, and I see that you erroneously capitalized the name of the "Chromium" directory in your description; perhaps you also erroneously capitalized the name of the directory when copying it to the new installation? The following command will list all "chromium" subdirectories under your ~/.config directory regardless of capitalization (the "-i" means "ignore case")...
Code:
damion@uberstudent:~$ ll ~/.config | grep -i 'chromium'
drwx------  6 damion damion 4096 May 22 02:23 chromium/
damion@uberstudent:~$

Thank you Stephen but unfortunately I found the folder chromium I saved in an external USB disk corrupted
pehaps due to a malware. I was so sure about saving it in an external disk. I didn't find the usual files but png files if I remember well.
Thank you
