I am trying to install uberstudent on a chromebook. I put the image into a usb I found a way to boot from it I chose "start Uberstudent" from the blue box with the header "UNetbootin" (should i have chosen "start uberstudent-4.1-xfce-64bit.iso" instead?) I added mem=1024M to the line (otherwise it said it didn't have memory to run it) Then Uberstudent started and i clicked "install uberstudent" on the desktop and followed the instructions. I chose to remove everything and install uberstudent. Then, when it was done and i rebooted, a Chrome OS screen still started and told me that there was no OS installed and that i should insert a recovery drive. How do i start uberstudent and why is there still something left of Chrome OS? |

As I do not own a Chromebook I cannot tell you exactly how to do this from experience or test anything. However, these directions look good. Let me know how it goes. |

It didn't solve my problem but at least i wont worry about it anymore because the last line says: Quote: Every time you boot up you'll need to do that Ctrl-L song and dance, since unfortunately you can't make SeaBIOS the default 30-sec timeout selection. Just deal with it. Which was what i was asking about. |
