I am trying to install uberstudent on a chromebook.

I put the image into a usb
I found a way to boot from it
I chose "start Uberstudent" from the blue box with the header "UNetbootin" (should i have chosen "start uberstudent-4.1-xfce-64bit.iso" instead?)
I added mem=1024M to the line (otherwise it said it didn't have memory to run it)
Then Uberstudent started and i clicked "install uberstudent" on the desktop and followed the instructions. I chose to remove everything and install uberstudent.

Then, when it was done and i rebooted, a Chrome OS screen still started and told me that there was no OS installed and that i should insert a recovery drive.
How do i start uberstudent and why is there still something left of Chrome OS?

As I do not own a Chromebook I cannot tell you exactly how to do this from experience or test anything. However, these directions look good. Let me know how it goes.

It didn't solve my problem but at least i wont worry about it anymore because the last line says:

Quote:
Every time you boot up you'll need to do that Ctrl-L song and
dance, since unfortunately you can't make SeaBIOS the default
30-sec timeout selection. Just deal with it.

Which was what i was asking about.
