I fail to understand the question and the explanation of differences in the following message I received during Uberstudent update:
Replace configuration file.png [ 86.19 KiB | Viewed 5262 times ]
What is it about and what would it do to choose either option?

I dislike that Debian-based systems even ask this question, as if everyone is such a geek as to know exactly how to answer questions concerning their apt configurations, or that they even know what such are yet. And I do not know how to get around it asking, or even if there is a reasonable way to do so, although I have tried to find one on several occasions.
So that's why in this particular package, uberstudentsources, it does not matter what you answer. I made the post-installation script to backup and replace the configuration file no matter what the user chooses. Because uberstudentsources is a base package, it MUST be 100% correct, and the option to "install the maintainers version" is the correct choice...even if you don't know so and don't choose so. If you watch the command prompt, it will later tell you that the file was backed up and replaced, regardless of the answer chosen by the user.
The change this update is making is actually tiny. It is adding the Google Chrome repository to your default apt configurations, a mere one line of code added to two places. That's it. The workaround if you don't like this addition is to just not install Google Chrome. But it remains available, and that is all, in case you change your mind.
