I was wondering if anyone has had any issues using VirtualBox with UberStudent? I am currently in school and I have to be using VirtualBox to run a couple different versions of Windows as well as a Linux distribution. I thought this might work for me.

OVA files for installing UberStudent in to VirtualBox are available with guest additions pre-installed. Just download and import. Directions and the OVA files are at http://sourceforge.net/projects/uberstu ... lBox-OVAs/

I have been successfully running UberStudent in virtual box using Oracle VM VirtualBox for about a year now. Windows Vista Business is the host while UberStudent is the guest. My laptop is a Dell Latitude E6400 with 4 GB of ram with Intel Core2 Duo 2.53 GHz 32-bit. I have UberStudent set to Base Memory: 1024 MB. It works fine for my intended use. I installed UberStudent by ISO since I had used Oracle VB on a desktop with Mint as a guest. I did not know about Mr. Ewen's suggestion of using OVA files which sounds easier but then I never did ask on the forum or happen across the OVA files solution. My only problem with my VirtualBox UberStudent was my operator error of installing a lot of PPA's which worked fine till there were some updates evidently from a PPA which broke the system. I am not a linux guru but rather a user. My daughter uses UberStudent 32-bit installed to hard disk on a Dell Latitude D630 with 2GB of ram Intel Core2 Duo 1.80 GHz for college. She had never used linux before she started college and is now in her second semester without any problems. Good luck!
