This sometimes happens when a server is changing state. Refreshing again in a few minutes will cause it to go away. If not, let me know.

Is this is a similar thing going on ? Should I just wait and try again in a bit?

Yes, it usually clears up on its own within minutes. If not, run "Software System Fixer" from your System > Software menu. It will fix 99% of apt problems.

Sorry, I forgot to attach my screen shots. Also, "Software System Fixer does not appear in my applications menu and I could not find it with the application finder, which seems strange. I am still getting the messages you see in the attached images.

Try one more time running the Upgrade Manager and clicking "Refresh." Does the error STILL happen?

Yes, I still got the error the first few times I tried, but it eventually worked. :D
