Post subject:  UberStudent 3.0 Repository

Hi all.

I've been kind of scarce lately. I thought I'd give an update.

I've been very busy creating debian packages for UberStudent 3.0. You may know that can be tedious and painstaking. The goal is for UberStudent 3.0 to have an independent repository for everything that makes it UberStudent. This represents a milestone for the distro. I plan to make huge promotional push for 3.0. Advisory board is still going to happen, too.

Anyone who can help other users on the forums - I appreciate it very much.

If you have debian packaging experience, or are willing to learn it pretty much on your own or with just a few pointers to documentation, I could use your help.

If you have experience setting up a debian repository on a server (uberstudent.net) or wish to learn as you do, it would save me a lot of time.

If you're a debian packaging guru, a few packages are giving me headaches and I could use your help, too.

If you are well-versed in a specific academic discipline and would like to construct and maintain a debian meta-package for your discipline, that would be great.

stephen.ewen@gmail.com is my personal email.

Back to packaging.... :)

Here's what's done so far:
