Well about myself.... I am a Army Vet that was in computer communications(Also went to College) during the Gulf War. One Tour to Saudi with a Patriot Missile Battery. I have been into computers since the old TI days playing 10 and 20 line code. I am by no means a programmer or super geek. But I am a Systems Administrator with a passion in a school district of 700 employees and 5000 students. I really enjoy tinkering with different Linux distros. I use linux on servers that are publicly accessible for obvious reasons, and windows for everything else. We have been trying to find ways to push linux into the classroom for many years. I think uberstudent might be the ticket to speed up some netbooks we have that Win7 Starter just bogs down... Will definitely use the Lite version of uber. We are moving to Google Apps this summer across the board and this will help stretch out the netbooks usefulness... We are buying tons of chromebooks also, but no need to throw out these netbooks as they can be used as google devices...
Also the gapps-icons-all_0.1.deb package makes all the google apps shortcuts for your users
I hope to see uber grow and grow, So keep up the good work!
