Ubuntu 14.04 LTS non-beta comes out April 17. That's what I am building from. I am building some things from the beta now.

Well the day raring support ended I manually edited all sources to saucy but it's not as flawless as your derivation of course, so I needed it badly :<
Give me a heads up if you need any beta testers ;)

You didn't need to do that. Ubuntu is built upon Debian Testing. As such, the Ubuntu end-support dates are very largely artificial, commercially-driven. Debian Stable is what to really watch. UberStudent 3.0 is fine by that. At the end-of-life period of UberStudent releases, any critical security updates would come through Debian in to the UberStudent repo.
