Post subject:  forking a browser

Hi I just recently learned the use of the word forking and thats about all I know on the subject.

I'm interested in "stealing" a browser. I want to take one and rename it. possibly make minor modifications. I don't mind giving credit where it is due.

So I have a couple questions,

-What browsers have licensing that would let me do this?

-Does Firefox? Opera?

-If I were to pay a programmer to do it and do a find & replace on all the code with my new name, how much do you think he would charge me?

-Would you (whoever is answering) be interested in doing this for me maybe a year from now?

-What about plugins and the plugins repository?

-any other thoughts?

There are many open source browsers available - Qupzilla, Seamonkey, and Dolphin.
